Description: Myrmecocystus navajo are a desert species from America. They're a very unique species of ant due to the way they produce repletes which are workers that are used as food storage. They fill their gasters up to a grape-like size with carbohydrates and hang upside down from the ceiling of their nest. They're an aggressive species. They can be slow-growing in the founding stages but soon pick up the pace as they mature. Myrmecocystus do not like vibrations.
